No! We will have monologues and sheet music provided if you need it
Can I walk into an audition without filling out a form?
Yes, walk-ins are great! However, we’d love for you to attempt to fill out an online form, but a paper copy will be provided at auditions, if needed.
Will I be needed at every rehearsal?
Probably not. We will call only the actors we need each day, so you’ll likely have some nights off! A detailed rehearsal schedule will be provided during the first week of rehearsals.
Will I have to sing a cappella at my audition?
Nope! We will have backing tracks provided (like a karaoke track).
What happens if I am not called back?
Just because you don’t get a callback does not mean you are not cast! It just means that we have seen all that we need to see from you.
How many conflicts is too many?
It depends ... every time someone is absent it affects the rest of the cast. Put down any/all conflicts you have on your form and we will see how it shakes out! You never know!
What should I bring to auditions?
Yourself! We will provide copies of monologues and sheet music if you need it.
What does the schedule look like for those looking to help with crew positions?
Run crew members would not be needed until mid-to-late July, but there are plenty of opportunities to help with set building, painting, poster distribution, etc. that will be happening all summer (be on the lookout for that info!)
What if I want to audition, but can’t make it to auditions?
No worries! Send us an email to [email protected] with your situation and we will get back to you! We would love to see you!
Will there be a live orchestra?
Absolutely!
WHAT will I be expected to do at AUDITIONS?
Sing, act, and dance! Audition monologues and song selections are provided on the audition page and will also be available at the door. Please review the choreography video on the audition page and be ready to dance it in small groups at auditions. Our choreographer will go over the steps in person as well, but more preparation is always good!
